Q: Do I need to know my curl type before I book?
Not at all! That's what we're here for. Whether you've been told you have '3B' curls or you have absolutely no idea, we'll assess your curl pattern, porosity, and texture during your visit. Come as you are — curiosity is all you need.
Q: I've had bad haircuts before. How is this different?
We hear this a lot, and we get it. Every cut here is done in your hair's natural state — not on wet, stretched-out hair. We work with your curl pattern, not against it. We also take time to listen before we ever pick up a pair of scissors
Q: What products do you use?
We prioritize low-tox, sustainable products that support both your curl health and your overall wellness. We use Innersense for styling. Two brands are used for color; Innersense Color Purity and Davines. We'll share exactly what we use on your hair .
Q: Should I arrive with my hair wet or dry?
We ask that you arrive with your hair in its natural state — no blowouts, flat-ironed, or heavily product-loaded. A simple wash-and-go or diffused style works perfectly. Check out our 'How to Arrive' page for a full prep guide.
Q: How long will my appointment take?
Most first-time visits run 2–3 hours. We're not rushing you out the door — we want to do a proper consultation, the service, and make sure you leave knowing exactly how to recreate the look at home.
Q: What if I'm unhappy with my hair after my service?
As much as we try our best to make sure you're happy after each visit, sometimes you're just not and we'd like to make it right. Please notify us within 3 days of your appointment if you have any concerns so that we can see you as soon as possible.
